The following is from the CG 7th District NTM 36/12.

Shell Key Light 90 (LLNR 12330) is destroyed with wreckage remaining 2ft above the waterline. The wreckage is marked with a TRLB with Fl Q R
characteristics. Mariners are advised to transit the area with extreme caution.

Key West Harbor, Northwest Channel, hazzard to navigation

May 30, 2012

The following is from the CG 7th District NTM 22/12.

Key West Northwest Channel Jetty Light A (LLNR 15175) is destroyed and the temporary lighted buoy is missing. A new temporary buoy is on station but the light is still extinguished. Mariners are urged to use extreme caution and transit the area at a slow, safe speed.

Bache Shoal DBN 9 (LLNR 10915) is missing both dayboards. The steel pile remains on charted position and poses a hazard to navigation. Mariners are advised to exercise extreme caution while transiting the area.

Key Largo Daybeacon 29 (LLNR 11495) is destroyed with 3ft of the steel pile remaining above the waterline. A temporary lighted buoy “WR29”
with Fl Q G, 5M characteristics is marking the remains. Mariners are advised to transit the area with extreme caution.

AIWW mile 1215.0, Hawk Channel Route, Niles Channel

A temporary buoy has been placed at Niles Channel Bridge in approximate position 24-39-36.0N 081-26-06.0W marking fallen debris from the old
Niles Channel Bridge fishing pier deteriorating. Mariners are advised to remain clear of this structure.
