Comments can also be mailed to: Commander (DPW), Seventh Coast Guard District, 909 SE 1st Avenue (STE 406) Brickell Federal Plaza Bldg. Miami FL 33131.

8/16/16: Pelican Shoal Light 26 (LLNR 1020) is destroyed. The steel pile poses a hazard to navigation. Mariners are advised to use extreme caution while transiting the area.

Key West, Garrison Bight, nav aid destroyed

Garrison Bight Channel Approach Light 2 (LLNR 14985) is destroyed. The remains of the steel pile may pose a hazard to navigation. Wreckage is marked with a TRLB WR2, displaying a Fl Q R light. Mariners are advised to exercise caution while transiting the area.

FL: Hawk Channel, Largo Sound Channel, hazard to navigation

Largo Sound Channel Light 2 (LLNR 11770) is destroyed. The remains of the steel pile wreckage is protruding 3-4ft above the water. Wreckage has been marked with a TRLB WR2, displaying Fl Q R characterisitics. Mariners are advised to exercise extreme caution while transiting the area.

Pacific Reef Daybeacon 2 (LLNR 10960) is destroyed. The steel pile remains pose a hazard to navigation. Wreckage is marked with a TRLB WR2 displaying Fl Q R in position 25-22-29.924N/080-09-13.247W. Mariners are advised to exercise extreme caution while transiting the area.
